Power snorkel by sea scooter at Freeman's Bay, Antigua. Guides spot turtles and a shipwreck, with included photo set and water.

“Our Sea Turtle Scooter adventure was great! The guides were patient, knowledgeable and took the time to make sure we were having a great time. They even took photos of the turtles, stingray, and all the sea life we came upon. Then they sent all of the photos to us, what a great gift to add to the trip. We brought a go pro and were able to mount it to the scooter, definitely recommend this!! The guides even swam down and took video for us! We may have even bought shirts to help advertise their business. Definitely recommend when you are visiting Antigua.”

We visited Shirley Heights, the Nelson’s Dockyard Museum, and Devil’s Bridge, all of which were amazing to experience. The lunch was delicious, and the highlight for us was relaxing at Darkwood Beach, which was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend this tour!”

“This was the best tour we have taken. Rob was very personable and we were able to tailor our tour around what we wanted to do. We saw so many things and Rob gave us so much information about life in Antigua. We even carved out time to swim and snorkel. We had an authentic Caribbean lunch, and Rob stopped to buy us black pineapple. Delicious! Would highly recommend this tour to learn and see all about Antigua.”

8.Private Snorkeling and Sightseeing Tour of Antigua

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 221 reviews · from $125

Private Antigua tour by car and calm-water snorkeling at Galleon Beach, with Nelson’s Dockyard and Shirley Heights plus GoPro wildlife moments.

“This is an excellent guided snorkeling tour from the shore at Galleon Beach. This is not a boat tour but you don’t need a boat tour to see the sights at Galleon Beach. The experience is better in my opinion from shore. John the tour guide is very knowledgeable and is very good at finding octopus, turtles, and other marine life. He will pick you up anywhere on the island. John was born in Antigua and shares his knowledge of the island while driving you to the snorkeling sight. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Antigua.”

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 211 reviews · from $130

Triple bike kayak hike around St. John’s, with mangroves, a beach stop, and Fort James, led by local guides.

“Our guide Giles was possibly the friendliest, most knowledgeable guide we have ever had. He made the experience incredibly enjoyable. Unfortunately, due to low water, we were unable to do the kayak portion of the tour, but Giles was up front about the issue (definitely not his fault) and extended our bike, walk and beach stay to offset it. The bikes were comfortable cruisers that were well maintained, and the total ride ended up being about 8 miles of flat terrain. We are avid cyclists, so the distance and terrain was an easy cruise for us. Anyone with even moderate fitness could do this tour. It was fun to ride…”

I loved that salt and lime is local and woman owned. I don't remember her name but the woman who owned the company conducted our tour and told us so much about the history of Antigua. It was like a 2 for 1 tour. This tour is not to be missed.”
